This extremely difficult 13.57 kilometers long hiking route will take you to the stunning Croce del Poggio area. The trail starts at the parking area near Albergo Disco Rosso, a restaurant located just 0.02 kilometers from the beginning of the hike. As you begin your journey, you will pass by the historic wayside cross located 0.07 kilometers from the starting point.

Midway through the hike, at a distance of 4.69 kilometers from the start, you will reach Rifugio Cenerale, an alpine hut where you can take a break and enjoy the scenic views. Make sure to refill your water bottles and have some snacks before continuing on the challenging trail.

As you near the end of the hike, approximately 6.27 kilometers from the start, you will reach the peak of Croce del Poggio, offering panoramic views of the surrounding landscapes. Take your time to soak in the beauty of the area before starting your descent.

Along the way, you will also find Osteria della Posta, a restaurant located just 0.02 kilometers from the start, where you can refuel after a long day of hiking.
