This extremely difficult 14.652-kilometer circular hiking route takes you through the stunning Gran Sasso - Monti della Laga National Park in Italy.
Starting at the parking area at the trailhead, you will soon come across Fonte Vedice, a picturesque picnic site located 0.75 kilometers from the start. This is a perfect spot to take a break and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.
As you continue on the trail, you will find a drinking water station approximately 3.62 kilometers from the start, providing a refreshing water source for hikers.
Midway through the hike, at 6.68 kilometers from the start, you will reach the breathtaking peak of Colle Ciurretta. The panoramic views from this vantage point are truly spectacular and worth the challenging climb.
