This hiking route will take you to Great Sca Fell, a peak located in a beautiful natural area. The trail is 8.732 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 428 meters, making it a difficult hike. It is an out-and-back route, starting at a parking area with no fees required.
As you begin your hike, you will pass by a stunning waterfall just 0.02 kilometers from the start. This is a great spot to take in the beauty of the surroundings and snap some photos. Further along the trail, at a distance of 2.97 kilometers from the start, you will come across Trusmadoor, a saddle point offering panoramic views of the area.
Continuing on, at the 4.37 kilometer mark, you will reach Great Sca Fell, the highest point of the hike. From here, you can enjoy spectacular views of the surrounding landscapes. Be sure to take a break and soak in the scenery before heading back.
On the return journey, you will pass by Meal Fell, located 3.53 kilometers from the start. While not directly on the trail, it is worth a detour for those looking to explore further.
