This hiking route takes you through the beautiful Birkett Edge area, offering stunning views and challenging terrain. With a total distance of 11.855 kilometers and an elevation gain of 1082 meters, this route is classified as difficult and is expected to take around 5 hours and 26 minutes to complete.
Starting from the parking area at the beginning of the trail, you will soon come across Whitewater Dash / Dash Falls, a picturesque waterfall located 5.93 kilometers from the start. As you continue on, you will encounter several other waterfalls, including ones at 28.23, 34.59, and 72.04 meters from the trail, all within the same vicinity.
One of the highlights of this hike is reaching the peak of Bakestall, situated 5.02 kilometers from the starting point. The trail will lead you to Barkbeth Hill as well, located 0.56 kilometers away from the path. Please note that this hill is slightly off the main trail.
