Hiking : Achental Grundalm

This hiking route will take you through the beautiful area surrounding Achental Grundalm. The trail is 11.373 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 687 meters, making it a difficult hike that will take approximately 4 hours and 21 minutes to complete.

As you start your hike, you will pass by the parking area located right at the beginning of the trail. Make sure to park your car here before setting off. About midway through the hike, you will come across Sintersbacher Wasserfall, a stunning waterfall that is not directly on the trail but worth the short detour to see.

Further along the trail, approximately 5.69 kilometers from the start, you will reach Achental Grundalm, an alpine hut where you can rest and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. There are also benches along the way, about 2.99 kilometers from the start, where you can take a break and soak in the views.

This out-and-back route offers a challenging hike with rewarding views and sights along the way. Make sure to bring plenty of water, snacks, and check the weather forecast before embarking on this adventure.
