Starting at the 12er Express parking area, you will make your way towards the trailhead. Along the way, you will pass by the Hl. Further along the trail, at 3.35 kilometers from the start, you will find a water source, providing a refreshing rest stop. The Hintermaisalm restaurant is located at 1.78 kilometers from the start, offering another opportunity to refuel before continuing your journey.
