Located in the beautiful mountains, the hiking route to Chaux de Culand offers a moderate challenge with a distance of approximately 5.9 kilometers and an elevation gain of 465 meters. The total duration for this out-and-back trail is estimated to be around 2 hours and 31 minutes.
You will start your journey at the designated parking area situated right at the beginning of the trail. As you make your way through the path, keep an eye out for the magnificent peak known as Chaux de Culand which is approximately 2.95 kilometers from the starting point. This peak provides a picturesque view and serves as a great spot for a rest and some breathtaking photos.
Additionally, along the way back, at about 2.92 kilometers from the start, you will come across another peak labeled as "1867." Although slightly off the main trail, this peak offers a unique perspective and is worth the short detour.
