This challenging 8.034 kilometers long hike in the Tsermon area offers stunning views and diverse points of interest along the way. The trail starts at a convenient parking area and leads you through beautiful natural surroundings.
Approximately 0.7 kilometers into the hike, you will come across Lac de Coudré, a picturesque water feature that is perfect for a quick break. Further along the trail at approximately 3.24 kilometers, you will find an information point where you can learn more about the area's history and wildlife.
At 3.7 kilometers, you will reach the peak of Tsermon, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding landscapes. Make sure to stop by Cabane Bounavaux, an alpine hut located at 1.94 kilometers from the start, for a rest and a snack.
Finally, at 3.24 kilometers into the hike, you will encounter Col de Bounavalette, a scenic saddle point. The route is circular, allowing you to experience all these points of interest along the way.
