This extremely difficult 11.435-kilometer out-and-back hiking route will take you to Pointe de Paray, offering magnificent views and challenging terrain.
Starting at the trailhead, you'll find parking available before embarking on your journey. As you begin your ascent, you'll come across an information point at around 0.03 kilometers from the start, providing insights into the area's history and geology.
Around 0.7 kilometers into the hike, you'll encounter Lac de Coudré, a beautiful natural water feature perfect for a rest stop. Continuing along the trail, at approximately 1.94 kilometers from the start, you'll reach Cabane Bounavaux, an alpine hut where you can take a break and enjoy the surroundings.
Midway through the hike, approximately 5.72 kilometers from the start, you'll reach Pointe de Paray, a prominent peak offering stunning panoramic views of the surrounding landscapes. Pushing further, at around 4.54 kilometers from the start, you'll also pass by Vanil de l'Ecri, another noteworthy peak along the trail.
