This challenging 9.762-kilometer circular hiking route to Tête de l'Herbette offers stunning views and a variety of points of interest along the way.

Starting from the parking area at the trailhead, you will immediately immerse yourself in the natural beauty of the area. About 0.7 kilometers into the hike, you will come across the picturesque Lac de Coudré, a perfect spot to take a break and enjoy the serene surroundings.

As you continue on the trail, you will pass by informational points providing insights into the local flora and fauna. Around the 4.17-kilometer mark, you will reach the peak of Tête de l'Herbette, where you will be rewarded with panoramic views of the surrounding mountains.

Midway through the hike, at approximately 1.94 kilometers from the start, you will find Cabane Bounavaux, an alpine hut where you can rest and refuel before continuing your journey.

Towards the end of the hike, at the 3.24-kilometer mark, you will reach Col de Bounavalette, a saddle offering breathtaking views of the landscape.
