As you continue along the trail, you will come across the Cabane Bounavaux alpine hut, a perfect spot to rest and take in the mountain views. Around the 2.8-kilometer mark, you will encounter another water feature, providing a serene and refreshing break along the way.

The highlight of the hike is reaching the Vanil de l'Ecri peak, which is approximately 4.5 kilometers from the starting point. The stunning views from the peak make the challenging trek well worth it.

This out-and-back route covers a distance of 9.1 kilometers with an elevation gain of 1035 meters, making it a difficult but rewarding hike for experienced hikers.
