This challenging out-and-back hiking route will take you to the stunning Gummfluh peak, starting and ending at the picturesque Chalberhöni restaurant. The 10.733-kilometer trail boasts an elevation gain of 980 meters and is estimated to take around 4 hours and 56 minutes to complete.
As you embark on your journey, you will come across a beautiful fountain just 2.03 kilometers from the start, perfect for a quick rest and refuel. Further along the trail, at the 1.96-kilometer mark, you will reach the Wilde Bode saddle, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding natural landscape.
Continuing onwards, you will pass by the Gummesel peak at 2.72 kilometers, providing a great photo opportunity. As you approach the peak, be sure to take a moment to rest at one of the benches conveniently located along the trail at 2.87 kilometers.
At the halfway point, you will find another bench at 3.12 kilometers, ideal for a short break before pushing on towards the Gummfluh peak. The final stretch of the hike will lead you to the impressive peak at 5.37 kilometers, where you can revel in the panoramic views from the top.
