This hiking route takes you through the stunning alpine scenery of the Rifugio Duca D'Aosta area. The 3.178-kilometer trail offers a relatively easy trek with an elevation gain of 212 meters, making it suitable for hikers of all skill levels.
You will start your journey at the parking area near the trailhead. From there, you will pass by the Angelo Debona restaurant, where you can grab a bite to eat before continuing on. About 0.61 kilometers into the hike, you will come across an information point to learn more about the area.
As you make your way along the trail, you will reach Rifugio Angelo Dibona around the 0.0-kilometer mark. This alpine hut offers a cozy place to rest and refuel before continuing on. Further along the trail, approximately 0.83 kilometers from the start, you will find Rifugio Pomedes, another accommodation option for hikers.
Midway through the hike, at around 1.59 kilometers, you will reach Rifugio Duca D'Aosta, the final destination of the route. This alpine hut provides a picturesque setting to relax and enjoy the surrounding mountain views before heading back.
