Further along the route, at a distance of 0.83 kilometers from the start, you will find the Rifugio Pomedes, another alpine hut where you can take a break and refuel before continuing your hike. As you trek onwards, at 1.59 kilometers from the start, you will reach the Rifugio Duca D'Aosta, your ultimate destination for this out-and-back hike. This alpine hut offers a perfect turnaround point with amenities for hikers to relax and recharge before heading back.
