This hiking route will take you through the stunning alpine scenery surrounding Capanna Guido Lorenzi in the Dolomites. The trail is 10.272 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 1127 meters, making it a difficult but rewarding hike.
Starting at the parking area, you will first pass by Sote Col da Varda where you can find informational signs about the area. As you continue, you will reach Col dei Jere and Pó Pontiò, two more informative stops along the trail.
Midway through the hike, you will come across Passo Tre Croci - Son Zuógo, a saddle offering breathtaking views of the surrounding peaks. Make sure to take a break at one of the benches along the trail to soak in the scenery and refuel for the rest of the journey.
As you approach Capanna Guido Lorenzi, you will pass by Rifugio Son Forca, an alpine hut where you can rest and enjoy a warm meal. The final stretch of the hike will lead you to the peak of Cristallino d'Ampezzo, offering panoramic views of the area.
Remember to bring plenty of water, snacks, and check the weather forecast before embarking on this challenging hike.
