This challenging hiking route takes you through the stunning alpine landscape of the Capanna Guido Lorenzi area. The trail is an out-and-back type, with a total distance of 10.272 kilometers and an elevation gain of 1127 meters, making it a difficult but rewarding adventure.
Along the way, you will encounter several points of interest. At the beginning of the trail, you will pass by Passo Tre Croci - Son Zuógo, a beautiful natural saddle offering breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains. As you continue your journey, you will come across Sote Col da Varda and Col dei Jere, where you can find information about the area.
Midway through the hike, you will reach Rifugio Son Forca, an alpine hut offering a cozy spot to rest and refuel before continuing on. From here, you can also catch glimpses of Cristallino d'Ampezzo, a majestic peak looming in the distance.
Towards the end of the trail, you will reach Capanna Guido Lorenzi, another alpine hut where you can relax and take in the panoramic views of the area. This is a great spot to enjoy a well-deserved break before heading back on the same route.
