Welcome to the Stallkogel hiking route, an extremely difficult trail that spans 12.653 kilometers with an elevation gain of 1329 meters. The journey is estimated to take around 6 hours and 15 minutes to complete, so be prepared for a challenging adventure ahead.

The trail begins at Ludwigsburger Hütte, where you can park your vehicle before embarking on the hike. Make sure to bring plenty of water and snacks as there are limited facilities along the route. It is always advisable to check the weather forecast before starting the hike.

As you venture further along the trail, you will come across Mauchelealm, an alpine hut located 3.63 kilometers from the starting point. This is a great spot to take a break and enjoy the stunning mountain views.

Midway through the hike, at around 6.33 kilometers from the start, you will reach Stallkogel, a peak that offers breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding area. Take your time to soak in the beauty of the landscape before continuing on your journey.

On the way back, at approximately 1.16 kilometers from the start, you will encounter a water source where you can refill your bottle and rehydrate.
