This hike takes place in a beautiful area with a mix of natural and historic points of interest. The route is an out-and-back type, with a total distance of 10.194 kilometers and an elevation gain of 525 meters, making it a difficult hike that will challenge even experienced hikers.
As you start your journey, you will come across the "Pilarín" bar, a great spot to grab a quick bite or a refreshing drink just 0.07 kilometers from the trailhead. Further along the trail at 0.45 kilometers, you will find a shelter and a picnic site for a nice break and maybe even enjoy some snacks you packed. Right next to it, there is a fountain named "Fuente" where you can refill your water bottle.
As you venture deeper into the hike, at 1.15 kilometers, you will reach the "Pozo Tronco" waterfall. Although it's not directly on the trail, it's worth taking a short detour to witness its beauty and take some memorable photos.
For history enthusiasts, at 0.2 kilometers from the start, you can visit the "Castillo de Biel" (Biel Castle), a historic site that offers a glimpse into the past. Nearby, at 0.07 kilometers, you will find "La Judería," an attraction that adds cultural value to your hike.
To replenish your energy, there is "El Caserío" restaurant at 0.08 kilometers from the start where you can enjoy a delicious meal before heading back.
As you make your way back, don't forget to visit "Pui Fonguera," a peak located 5.1 kilometers from the start, offering stunning views of the surrounding landscape.
