This challenging hike will take you on a 9.3 km journey with an elevation gain of 70 meters in the beautiful area surrounding Piscinas. As you start your hike, you'll come across the picturesque Pilarín bar which is located just 0.07 km from the trailhead. Further along the trail at 0.39 km, you'll find a shelter and a picnic site where you can take a break and enjoy the surroundings.
Around the midway point of the hike, at 4.1 km, you'll encounter another shelter where you can rest and refuel before continuing on. As you approach the end of the trail, at 4.6 km, you'll be rewarded with a stunning waterfall called Pozo Tronco, followed by another waterfall known as Piscinas just 0.09 km further down the trail.
Throughout the hike, be sure to stay hydrated and bring plenty of water, especially on warm days. Don't forget to check the weather forecast before setting out and wear appropriate footwear for the challenging terrain. As this is an out-and-back route, you'll retrace your steps on the way back to the starting point.
