Welcome to the hiking route to Rocca 2 in Gerola Alta. This circular route covers a distance of 7.084 kilometers with an elevation gain of 747 meters, making it a difficult yet rewarding hike.

The trail starts at the parking area near Cioky Bar, where hikers can leave their vehicles before embarking on the adventure. As you set off on the trail, you'll come across the beautiful Sorgente di Val Tronella at 1.77 kilometers from the start, providing a refreshing water stop along the way.

Continuing on, at 3.01 kilometers from the start, you'll reach Rifugio Cesare Benigni, an alpine hut where you can take a break and enjoy the surrounding scenery. Just a bit further at 3.06 kilometers, there is a natural water source for refilling your bottles.

Around the midway point of the hike, at 3.46 kilometers, you'll find a viewpoint offering stunning panoramic views of the area. It's a perfect spot to pause and take in the beauty of your surroundings.

As you make your way back towards the starting point, be sure to visit Rocca di Pescegallo, a peak located 2.22 kilometers from the start, although not directly on the trail. This vantage point offers a unique perspective of the landscape.
