This hiking route will take you to Cima di Valpianella (Piazzotti), a stunning destination with breathtaking views. The trail is a circular route with a total distance of 8.12 kilometers and an elevation gain of 868 meters, making it a difficult hike that will take approximately 4 hours to complete.
Starting at the trailhead, you will pass by Cioky Bar, a cafe located just 0.04 kilometers from the start. Make sure to grab a drink or snack before embarking on your adventure. As you continue along the trail, you will come across several points of interest.
At around 1.77 kilometers from the start, you will find Sorgente di Val Tronella, a natural water source where you can refill your water bottles. Approximately 3.01 kilometers into the hike, you will reach Rifugio Cesare Benigni, an alpine hut where you can take a break and enjoy some rest.
Further along the trail, at 3.73 kilometers from the start, you will encounter Cima di Valpianella (Piazzotti), a peak with magnificent panoramic views. This is a great spot to take in the surrounding landscape and capture some stunning photos.
