This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area of Cresta SudOvest Matanna. The trail is 5.527 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 415 meters, making it a moderate difficulty hike.

Starting at the trailhead, you will come across a parking area, perfect for leaving your vehicle before starting the hike. As you make your way along the trail, you will pass by the Cocuzzolo Castellina peak, located 0.28 kilometers away from the start. This peak offers stunning views of the surrounding landscape.

About 2.76 kilometers into the hike, you will find a natural spring where you can refill your water bottles. Continuing on, at the 2.06-kilometer mark, you will encounter a wayside shrine, adding a cultural element to your journey.

For sustenance along the hike, there are two restaurants nearby. Agriturismo L'Alpeggio is located 2.06 kilometers along the trail, while Agriturismo L'Agrifoglio is 1.64 kilometers away. These spots are great for a break and a delicious meal.

At the 2.76-kilometer mark, there is a drinking water point for you to hydrate. Additionally, a viewpoint awaits you at the end of the trail, providing a panoramic view of the area.
