This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area surrounding Il Robbio. The trail is 6.192 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 375 meters, making it a moderate difficulty hike.
As you start your journey, you will pass by Lago di Isola Santa, a picturesque water body located right at the beginning of the trail. Further along the path, at around 2.9 kilometers from the start, you will find La Quiete, an alpine hut where you can take a break and enjoy some refreshments.
Continuing on, at 3.1 kilometers from the start, you will reach Il Robbio, another alpine hut offering a place to rest and refuel. This is also the destination of this out-and-back route.
Along the way, you will have the opportunity to admire the Cima di Gufonaglia peak, located approximately 2.11 kilometers from the start, and the Roccia delle girandole dei pennati di Puntato archaeological site, about 2.63 kilometers into the hike.
Be sure to stay hydrated by taking advantage of the drinking water sources along the trail, such as the one located at the beginning and another one at 0.03 kilometers into the hike. Additionally, stop by La Pollaccia spring, which is located at 0.42 kilometers from the start, for a refreshing drink.
