This hiking route will take you through the beautiful area surrounding Il Robbio. The trail is 6.192 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 375 meters, making it of moderate difficulty. It is estimated to take around 2 hours and 22 minutes to complete.
As you start your hike, you will pass by some interesting points of interest. At the beginning of the trail, you will come across Lago di Isola Santa, a picturesque lake perfect for a quick stop to admire the serene surroundings. Further along the route, at 2.9 kilometers from the start, you will find La Quiete, an alpine hut where you can rest and refuel.
Continuing on, at 3.1 kilometers from the start, you will reach Il Robbio, another alpine hut offering accommodation and amenities for hikers. At this point, you may choose to take a break and enjoy the hospitality of the hut before heading back.
During your hike, you will also encounter some interesting spots off the main trail. Around 2.11 kilometers from the start, you will find Cima di Gufonaglia, a peak with stunning views of the surrounding area. Additionally, at 2.63 kilometers from the start, you can explore the Roccia delle girandole dei pennati di Puntato, an archaeological site with historical significance.
