This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area surrounding Il Robbio in Italy. The 6.192-kilometer trail has an elevation gain of 375 meters, making it of moderate difficulty.
Starting at the parking area, you will soon come across a drinking water station, where you can refill your water bottle before continuing on. As you make your way along the trail, you will pass by the Roccia delle girandole dei pennati di Puntato, an archaeological site that is 2.63 kilometers into the hike.
Around the 2.9-kilometer mark, you'll reach La Quiete, an alpine hut where you can take a break and enjoy some refreshments. Just a bit further ahead, at 3.1 kilometers, you'll find another alpine hut called Il Robbio. This hut offers a phone number and website for you to check out before reaching it.
For a bit of a detour, you can head towards Lago di Isola Santa, a beautiful water feature that is not directly on the trail but only 137 meters away. If you're up for a challenge and love panoramic views, consider heading towards Cima di Gufonaglia, a peak that is 2.11 kilometers from the trail.
Throughout the hike, there are several drinking water stations and a spring called La Pollaccia, located 0.42 kilometers from the start. It's important to stay hydrated and carry enough water with you, as well as checking the weather forecast before embarking on this journey.
