As you start your journey, you will come across a parking area, located right at the beginning of the trail. Around 2.29 kilometers into the hike, you will encounter a historic wayside shrine, adding a cultural touch to your outdoor experience. Further along the trail, at a distance of 0.23 kilometers from the start, you will find the entrance to the intriguing Buca di Cthulhu cave, offering a unique opportunity to explore the natural wonders of the area.
Continuing on your path, you will pass by several cave entrances, such as Abisso Bukellen, Abisso Montemurlo Bocciolix, Buco Miniera del Culaccio, Buca di Satabbor, Pozzo di Cava del Freddone, Saletta dei Geotritoni, Buca sulla Curva, and Buca del Cacciatore, each providing a glimpse into the underground beauty of Monte Corchia.
Midway through the hike, you will reach the peak of Monte Corchia, offering spectacular panoramic views of the surrounding landscapes. As you progress towards the endpoint, you will encounter Fociomboli saddle, Corchia ovest peak, Guglie del Corchia peak, and an information point, enriching your hiking experience with various points of interest.
