This extremely difficult 18.047-kilometer circular hiking route will take you through the stunning Auto Vallonasso area. With an elevation gain of 1853 meters, this challenging trek is not for the faint of heart, but the breathtaking views along the way are certainly worth the effort.
Starting from the parking area at the beginning of the trail, you will first come across the ruins of the historic Albergo Principe di Piemonte before reaching the Colle d'Enchiausa saddle, which offers a serene and picturesque stop to catch your breath. Along the way, you will also encounter the Lago d'Apsoi and Sorgenti del Maira, providing peaceful places to rest and refuel.
Midway through the hike, you'll find the Bivacco Bonelli shelter, perfect for a quick break or an overnight stay if you're up for a multi-day adventure. As you continue on, keep an eye out for the Auto Vallonasso peak and the anticima Sud-Est Auto Vallonasso, offering panoramic vistas that will truly take your breath away.
