Starting off from the trailhead, you'll pass by the Riederstübli restaurant, where you can grab a bite to eat before tackling the challenging trail ahead. Along the way, you'll come across various information points such as the Gletscherrand Riedgletsher and Alpja, providing insights into the local history and geology.

As you trek further, you'll encounter the Bordierhütte alpine hut, offering a cozy resting spot amidst the rugged terrain. Be sure to replenish your water supply at the drinking water points scattered along the trail.

With a total distance of 14.172 kilometers and an elevation gain of 1240 meters, this hike is not for the faint-hearted. Make sure to pack plenty of water, snacks, and dress in layers as the weather can change quickly in the mountains.
