This extremely difficult 11.935-kilometer out-and-back hiking route leads to the Britanniahütte in a picturesque alpine setting. The trail has an elevation gain of 1383 meters and takes approximately 6 hours and 13 minutes to complete.
Starting from the trailhead, hikers will pass by several points of interest along the way. At the beginning of the trail, there is a parking area where you can leave your vehicle before embarking on the challenging journey ahead. As you make your way along the path, you will come across multiple water sources, providing opportunities to refill your water bottles and take in the soothing sounds of flowing streams.
Midway through the hike, you will encounter the Britanniahütte, an alpine hut where you can rest and recharge before continuing on your adventure. With its stunning mountain views and cozy atmosphere, the hut offers a perfect spot to take a break and enjoy a meal.
