This extremely difficult 12.4 kilometer out-and-back hiking route takes you to Klein Allalin, offering stunning views and a challenging trek. Starting at the trailhead, you'll pass by several points of interest along the way.
About 5.17 kilometers from the start, you'll find a water source, perfect for refilling your supplies. Further along, at the 4.92 kilometer mark, there's another water feature which is a bit off the trail. Remember to stay hydrated throughout the hike.
As you continue, about 0.33 kilometers from the start, there's an additional water spot. At 5.33 kilometers, you'll encounter more water and at 5.98 kilometers, you'll reach Britanniahütte, an alpine hut where you can rest and take in the surroundings.
Close to the 4.97 kilometer mark, you'll find another water point before reaching Klein Allalin at 6.2 kilometers, the peak of your journey. Here, you'll be rewarded with panoramic views. Additionally, along the way, there are several information points and viewpoints to enhance your hiking experience.
It's important to note that there are some waterfalls around 3.1 kilometers from the start, a bit off the trail. Ensure you are well-prepared for this challenging hike by bringing plenty of water, snacks, and checking the weather forecast beforehand. Stay safe and enjoy the adventure!
