This hiking route takes you through a challenging 12.4-kilometer trail in a beautiful alpine area. The route has an elevation gain of 1223 meters, making it extremely difficult but rewarding for experienced hikers.
Starting at the parking area, you will embark on an out-and-back journey towards the stunning Bivacco Camposecco. Along the way, you will encounter various points of interest. About 0.06 kilometers from the start, you will find a drinking water source to refill your water bottles.
As you continue on the trail, around 0.78 kilometers in, you will come across the captivating Cascata Sajont and Cascata del Sajont waterfalls, though they are slightly off the trail. Further ahead, at 2.81 kilometers into the hike, the Cascata di Banella waterfall offers a picturesque spot to rest and enjoy the surroundings.
Midway through the route, at 6.21 kilometers, you will reach the Bivacco Camposecco alpine hut, perfect for a break or overnight stay. Additionally, another shelter is located nearby for hikers needing a rest stop.
