Welcome to the Jelenec hiking route, a challenging 14.2-kilometer circular trail that will take you through the beautiful natural surroundings of the area. With an elevation gain of 664 meters, this hike is classified as extremely difficult, so make sure you are well-prepared before embarking on this adventure.

As you start your journey, you will come across a parking area conveniently located at the beginning of the trail. It is recommended to bring plenty of water and snacks as there are limited facilities along the way.

Approximately 0.03 kilometers from the start, you will find the Národná prírodná rezervácia Rakšianske rašelinisko, a national natural reserve offering unique flora and fauna for you to admire.

Midway through the hike, at around 7.04 kilometers from the start, you will reach the peak of Jelenec. Take a moment to soak in the breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding landscape.

Further along the trail, at a distance of 4.18 kilometers from the start, you will encounter the František Révai memorial, providing a glimpse into the historic significance of the area.
