This hiking route will take you through the picturesque area of Poľovnícky. With a total distance of 10.181 kilometers and an elevation gain of 683 meters, this hike is rated as difficult and will take approximately 4 hours to complete.
As you begin your journey, you will come across a parking area just 5.7 meters away from the trail. This is a convenient spot to leave your vehicle before embarking on the hike. As you continue along the trail, at about 4.7 kilometers from the start, you will reach a viewpoint where you can take in stunning panoramic views of the surrounding landscape.
Around the midway point of the hike, at 4.46 kilometers from the start, you will encounter Sedlo Vráca, where you can find information about the area. Nearby, you will also find the peak of Malý Choč, offering a great vantage point to appreciate the natural beauty of the region.
Continuing on, at 5.09 kilometers from the start, you will reach another viewpoint that provides a different perspective of the scenery. Keep an eye out for the spring at 3.66 kilometers from the start, a refreshing spot to rest and hydrate.
Further along the trail, at 2.18 kilometers from the start, you will find the peak of Machnaté, offering a challenging yet rewarding ascent. As you approach the 5 kilometer mark, you will encounter Alpínske pásmo, where you can learn more about the alpine region.
At the endpoint of the hike, you will find Vrchvarta, a saddle offering a place to rest and take in the final views before turning back.
