Hiking : Kríž na Prednom Choči

This challenging hiking route takes you through the picturesque area surrounding Kríž na Prednom Choči. The trail covers a distance of approximately 9.85 kilometers and includes an elevation gain of 815 meters, making it a difficult but rewarding trek for experienced hikers.

Starting at Likava Castle, you will begin your journey with a visit to this historic site before heading towards other points of interest along the trail. As you hike, you will pass by several natural springs and viewpoints, offering opportunities to rest and take in the stunning scenery.

Midway through the hike, you will reach Hrad Likava, another historical site that provides insight into the region's past. Continuing onwards, you will encounter Predný Choč, a natural peak with breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape.

Throughout the hike, you will have the chance to explore various informational points and benches where you can take a break and appreciate the beauty of the area. Make sure to bring plenty of water, as the trail can be strenuous, and check the weather forecast before setting out.

At the end of the route, you will arrive at Kríž na Prednom Choči, a viewpoint where you can enjoy panoramic views before heading back along the same trail to complete the out-and-back journey.
