Starting at the trailhead, you'll find convenient parking available. As you begin your journey, make sure to stop by Malatiná, obecný úrad for some useful information about the area, approximately 0.35 kilometers into the hike.

As you continue, you'll reach the peak of Ostré, known for its beautiful views, and the cave entrance at v Ostroňi, both located around 4.15 kilometers from the start. Take a moment to rest at one of the benches scattered along the trail before reaching the Ostroň viewpoint, offering a breathtaking panorama of the surroundings.

About 3.57 kilometers into the hike, you'll come across a scenic saddle before heading back towards the starting point. If you need a break or some sustenance, Hostinec pod lipou pub is a short distance away from the trail, approximately 0.35 kilometers from the beginning.

A shelter is also available around 0.67 kilometers into the hike for a quick rest or protection from the elements.

With a total distance of 8.293 kilometers and an elevation gain of 328 meters, this route is considered difficult and is recommended for experienced hikers. Make sure to bring plenty of water, wear appropriate footwear, and check the weather forecast before embarking on this adventure.
