This hiking route is set in a beautiful area with stunning natural surroundings. The trail is a circular route with a total distance of 10.447 kilometers and an elevation gain of 930 meters, making it a challenging and difficult hike that would require some level of fitness.
As you begin your hike, you will come across a parking area at the start of the trail. Around the 3.26 kilometer mark, you will find the Hotel Choč wilderness hut for accommodation options. Continuing on, at about 4.81 kilometers into the hike, you will reach the peak of Veľký Choč, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape.
Along the way, there are various points of interest such as the Stredná Poľana information point, viewpoint at 4.91 kilometers, a spring at 1.15 kilometers, a shelter at 1.15 kilometers, and a restaurant named Jánošíkova krčma.
