This hiking route takes you to Pierson Lake, a beautiful natural spot in the area. The trail is 3.188 kilometers long with no elevation gain, making it an easy hike suitable for all skill levels.
As you start your journey, you'll pass by the parking area at 0.37 kilometers from the start. Further along the trail at 0.86 kilometers, you'll find Boardwalk Station, where you can grab a snack. Nearby, at the same distance, you can visit the Jane and Frank Warchol Beaver Habitat and spot some wildlife like Bald Eagles and Wolverines.
At 1.28 kilometers on the trail, you'll reach Table 28, another food spot for a quick break. As you continue, don't miss the Rackham Fountain at 1.03 kilometers and the South American Animals exhibit at 1.05 kilometers off the trail.
