This hiking route will take you through the stunning mountainous area surrounding Tête de l'Adroit. With a distance of 11.5 kilometers and an elevation gain of 940 meters, this hike is classified as difficult and is estimated to take around 5 hours to complete.
Starting at Parking de Burzier, you will begin your journey towards the alpine hut, Refuge de Doran, located at a distance of 3.14 kilometers from the start. This is a great spot to rest and admire the beautiful surroundings before continuing on your hike. Along the trail, you will come across various points of interest such as La Cascade de Doran and Cascade de Doran, both offering breathtaking views but slightly off the main path.
As you make your way towards Tête de l'Adroit, the highest peak in the area, you will pass by the viewpoint at 4.68 kilometers from the start, offering panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. Be sure to stop at the drinking water station located at 3.24 kilometers from the start to refill your water bottle and stay hydrated throughout the hike.
Towards the end of the trail, you will encounter benches, a wayside cross, an information point, and a fountain, providing some historical and cultural insights into the region. The trail will lead you back to the starting point at Parking de Burzier, completing the circular route.
