Welcome to the Tropiques Access Path, a moderate 5.593-kilometer circular hiking route that offers a mix of natural beauty and historic landmarks. The trail starts at a convenient parking area just 19.73 meters away from the trailhead. As you begin your journey, you'll pass by the impressive Falaise de la Frasse, a popular climbing spot located just 49.69 meters from the trail.
As you continue on, you'll come across a wayside shrine and a wayside cross, both with historical significance and located 12.65 meters and 56.12 meters from the trail, respectively. These landmarks provide a glimpse into the area's past as you trek through the scenic surroundings.
Around the 2.68-kilometer mark, you'll reach a viewpoint that offers breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. Be sure to take a moment to soak in the scenery before continuing on. Just a bit further, at 2.6 kilometers from the start, you'll find another viewpoint that provides a different perspective, although slightly off the trail.
Towards the end of the hike, at the 2.6-kilometer mark, you'll encounter "la Dent," a peak that adds a touch of excitement to the trail. The elevation gain of 223 meters adds a moderate challenge to the hike, making it suitable for hikers looking for a bit of a workout.
