This extremely difficult 15-kilometer circular hiking route will take you through the stunning landscape of Punta Malta. The trail starts at the parking area and immediately immerses you in the beauty of nature.
As you begin your journey, you will come across drinking water at the beginning of the trail to ensure you stay hydrated throughout your hike. As you make your way further, you will encounter informational points along the trail providing you with interesting facts about the area.
Midway through the hike, you will reach Lago Secco, a serene lake where you can take a moment to rest and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Continuing on, you will pass by Rifugio Bagnour, an alpine hut where you can take a break and refuel before tackling the rest of the route.
As you near the end of the trail, you will reach Punta Malta, a peak offering breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding area. From here, you can appreciate all the hard work you put into completing this challenging hike.
Throughout the route, you will encounter various points of interest such as Passo Calatà, a saddle, and Sorgente, a spring, providing you with unique experiences along the way.
