This challenging out-and-back hiking route will take you to the beautiful Fischteich area. The trail covers a distance of approximately 10.6 kilometers with an elevation gain of 207 meters, making it a difficult hike that will take around 3 hours to complete.

As you start your journey, you will come across the Alpengasthof Prossau restaurant around 5.3 kilometers into the hike. This is a great spot to grab a bite to eat and refuel before continuing on the trail. Further along the route, at about 1.34 kilometers from the start, you will find the Himmelwandhütte restaurant, offering another opportunity to rest and enjoy some refreshments.

For nature lovers, there are several water sources along the trail, with the closest one only 90 meters from the start. Be sure to stay hydrated throughout your hike, especially on warmer days. Additionally, there are parking areas available at the beginning of the trail, so you can easily access the starting point.

Along the way, you will also encounter informational points, viewpoints, benches, and historic landmarks to enhance your hiking experience. Take your time to appreciate the surroundings and snap some photos at these scenic spots.

Before embarking on this hike, make sure to pack plenty of water, snacks, and sunscreen. Check the weather forecast beforehand and wear appropriate footwear for the terrain.
