This extremely difficult 14.975-kilometer out-and-back hiking route takes you through the stunning natural beauty of the area. The trail starts at a parking area located right at the beginning of the route. Make sure to pack plenty of water and snacks as this route will take approximately 5 hours and 24 minutes to complete.

As you make your way along the trail, you will come across a couple of water sources. The first water point is located around 5.9 kilometers into the hike, followed by another at 5.81 kilometers. Make sure to refill your water bottles here to stay hydrated throughout your journey.

Along the way, you will also encounter some points of interest. At the start of the trail, you will find the Black Watch monument. Further along, at a distance of 0.02 kilometers from the start, there is an information point for visitors to learn more about the area.

As you continue on, you will pass by Meikle Millyea peak approximately 5.27 kilometers from the start, followed by Milldown peak at 6.49 kilometers, and finally, Millfire peak at 7.49 kilometers. These peaks offer stunning panoramic views of the surrounding landscape, making the challenging hike well worth it.

For a restful break, there is a picnic site located right along the trail at the beginning, allowing you to relax and recharge before heading back.
