This hiking route takes you through the beautiful landscape surrounding the Steinberghütte in the Alps. The trail is a circular route with a total distance of 4.142 kilometers and an elevation gain of 156 meters.
Starting at an elevation of 1813 meters, you will pass by the Bodeneck parking area where you can leave your car for the hike. As you make your way along the trail, you will come across the Silvesteralm - Malga San Silvestro, a charming alpine hut where you can stop for a meal or a rest just at the beginning of the trail.
Continuing on, after approximately 2 kilometers, you will reach the Steinberghütte, another alpine hut offering a cozy retreat for hikers with stunning views of the surrounding peaks. This will be a great spot to take a break and refuel before continuing on the hike.
Along the way, you will also find benches where you can sit and enjoy the scenery, as well as information points to learn more about the area. As you approach the end of the trail, you will pass by a saddle named Bodeneck, a natural landmark worth admiring.
