The Finanzieritrail is a challenging out-and-back hiking route that covers a distance of 9.436 kilometers and includes an elevation gain of 560 meters. The estimated duration for completing this trail is 3 hours and 35 minutes.

The trail starts at Bodeneck parking area where you can leave your vehicle before beginning your journey. As you hike along the trail, you will come across several points of interest.

About 0.81 kilometers from the start, you will reach Silvesteralm - Malga San Silvestro, a nearby alpine hut where you can rest and grab a bite to eat. Further along the trail at 2.05 kilometers, you will find Steinberghütte, another alpine hut for accommodation and sustenance.

Approximately midway through the hike at 4.72 kilometers, there is a water source available for refilling your water bottles. Additionally, at the same point, there is a bench for a quick break, and another water source is located nearby.

At the end of the trail, you will find yourself back at the starting point, the Bodeneck parking area. Overall, this hike offers beautiful scenic views and is recommended for experienced hikers due to its length and elevation gain.
