The Finanzieritrail is a challenging out-and-back hiking route that spans a distance of 9.673 kilometers with an elevation gain of 556 meters. The trail is estimated to take around 3 hours and 37 minutes to complete.

The hike begins at the Bodeneck parking area, where you can leave your vehicle before embarking on this adventure. As you start your journey, you will come across a bench and information point, perfect for a quick rest and to gather insights about the surrounding area.

Along the trail, you will encounter several points of interest, including the Silvesteralm Alpine Hut located 0.81 kilometers from the start, offering a cozy spot to grab some refreshments and enjoy the alpine atmosphere. Further into the hike at around 4.8 kilometers, you will find multiple water sources ideal for refilling your bottles and taking a break.

Halfway through the hike at 2.05 kilometers, the Steinberghütte alpine hut provides another opportunity to rest and replenish your energy before continuing the journey.

Towards the end of the trail, approximately 4.52 kilometers from the start, you will find a peak offering panoramic views of the surrounding natural landscape. Additionally, at the 0.85-kilometer mark, a drinking water source awaits to quench your thirst and keep you hydrated for the remainder of the trek.
