This hiking route takes you to Alto Zampeado, a peak in the area. The trail is 4.354 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 296 meters, making it a moderate difficulty hike. It is an out-and-back route, so you will retrace your steps on the way back.

As you start your hike, you will come across various points of interest. At the beginning of the trail, there is a parking area for your convenience. Further along the route, you will find a picnic site where you can take a break and enjoy the surroundings. There is also a drinking water point nearby to stay hydrated.

Midway through the hike, you will pass by an information point named P.N., where you can learn more about the area. Keep an eye out for the restaurant called Iratiko Etxeak / Casas de Irati, which is slightly off the trail but worth a visit for a meal after your hike.

Your ultimate destination, Alto Zampeado, is located 2.18 kilometers from the start of the trail. Once you reach the peak, you will be rewarded with stunning views of the surrounding landscape.

As with any hike, it is important to come prepared. Make sure to bring plenty of water, wear appropriate footwear, and check the weather forecast before setting out.
