Welcome to the Zazpigain hiking route! This 6.9-kilometer circular trail offers stunning views and a challenging terrain for experienced hikers.
Starting at the parking area, you will make your way through the lush surroundings before reaching the Erroimendy viewpoint at 0.09 kilometers from the start. This is a great spot to take a break and admire the panoramic views of the area from an elevation of 1350 meters.
Continuing on the trail, you will come across the Col d'Erroïmendi saddle at 0.07 kilometers from the start, adding a touch of natural beauty to your hike. Further along, at the same distance, you will find an information point where you can learn more about the region's history and geology.
About halfway through the hike, at 3.21 kilometers from the start, you will encounter the historic Mugarrien boundary stone, adding a cultural element to your outdoor adventure. Finally, at 3.24 kilometers from the start, you will reach the peak of Zazpigain, offering a rewarding sense of accomplishment and breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape.
