This hiking route takes you through the stunning Axurterrigaina area, offering breathtaking views and a challenging terrain to conquer. The route is circular, starting and ending at the Aparcamiento del Puerto de Larrau parking area.

As you embark on this 11.182-kilometer journey with an elevation gain of 406 meters, you will encounter several points of interest along the way. At the beginning of the trail, you will come across Mugarrien 237, a historic boundary stone marking the area. Further along the trail, you will find informative signs about the GR 12 Senda Euskalherria trail, providing valuable insights into the region.

Midway through the hike, you will reach the peak of Axurterrigaina, where you can marvel at the panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. As you continue your descent, you will pass by Larraineko mendatea, a natural saddle offering a picturesque resting spot.
