This extremely difficult 18.655-kilometer circular hike in the Xate area offers hikers a challenging and rewarding experience. With an elevation gain of 631 meters, this route will take approximately 5 hours and 53 minutes to complete. Starting at the parking area located right at the trailhead, hikers will begin their journey through the stunning landscape. Along the way, you will encounter several points of interest:

- About 6 kilometers into the hike, you will come across a water feature, located just 30 meters from the trail.
- At approximately 4.36 kilometers into the hike, you will find the Dolmen Ugaibel, an archaeological site rich in history.
- As you continue on, you will reach the peak of Harri Eder Gaina, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding area at 3.81 kilometers from the start.
- About 9.13 kilometers into the hike, you will come across another peak called Xate, with a unique natural saddle named Xateko lepoa just before it.
