This challenging hiking route takes you to the stunning Tuc dera Gossetèra peak. The trail starts at a parking area, where you can find some basic information about the area before embarking on your journey. As you make your way through the rugged terrain, you will come across a boundary stone marking a historic site, and soon after, you will reach a saddle known as Eth Portilhon.
Continuing along the trail, you will pass by a picnic site, perfect for taking a break and enjoying the surrounding nature. As you approach the midway point, you will encounter the Coret de Samorèra saddle, offering breathtaking views of the landscape. Be sure to stay hydrated as you make your way towards the Tuc dera Gossetèra peak, which stands majestically at 4.71 kilometers from the start of the trail.
Throughout the hike, you will have opportunities to replenish your water supply at a drinking water station located 0.1 kilometers from the trail. The trail is 9.427 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 600.0 meters, making it a difficult but rewarding trek for experienced hikers. Remember to bring plenty of water, wear appropriate footwear, and check the weather forecast before setting out on this adventure.
