This extremely difficult hiking route will take you through the stunning area surrounding Lac d'Enfer. With a total distance of 14.778 kilometers and an elevation gain of 1291 meters, this challenging trek is not for the faint of heart.

Starting at Chalet l'Avalanche, you will begin your journey towards Lac d'Enfer. Along the way, you will pass by several points of interest. At the beginning of the trail, you will come across Vallée du Lis, where you can take in the beautiful surroundings. As you continue on, you will encounter Cascade de Calahoure, a picturesque waterfall that adds to the natural beauty of the area.

Midway through your hike, you will reach Refuge du Maupas, where you can take a break and enjoy the stunning alpine views. From there, you can continue towards Cabane de La Houradade, another shelter that provides a resting spot for weary hikers.

As you make your way back towards the starting point, be sure to stop by Ô Berges du Lys for a refreshing break before completing the trail. It is important to note that this route is extremely challenging, so be sure to bring plenty of water, snacks, and appropriate hiking gear.
