This hiking route takes you to the stunning Ibón de Cregüeña, starting from Refugio de Coronas. The area is known for its natural beauty, with magnificent views and pristine wilderness.
As you start your hike from Refugio de Coronas, you will pass by a parking area at the beginning of the trail. Make sure to bring plenty of water as this is a difficult route with an elevation gain of 1192 meters over a distance of 10.586 kilometers.
Along the way, you will encounter various points of interest. About 5.29 kilometers from the start, you will reach Ibón de Cregüeña, a beautiful water feature where you can take in the tranquil surroundings. At 2.54 kilometers from the start, you will come across another water point. Additionally, there is a shelter called Abri del Ibonet de Coronas located 1.59 kilometers from the start, providing a resting spot for hikers.
Midway through the hike, at approximately 3.75 kilometers from the start, you will reach Collado de Cregüeña, offering panoramic views of the surrounding peaks. Towards the end of the trail, at 3.96 kilometers from the start, you will find Agulla de Juncadella, a notable peak along the route.
As you make your way back, at 2.07 kilometers from the start, you can stop by a spring to replenish your water supply.
