This hiking route takes you to the beautiful area around Mont Pellat. The trail is 4.433 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 351 meters, making it of moderate difficulty.
Starting at a parking area, you will pass by a saddle called Col des Fontanettes, located 1.24 kilometers from the trailhead. This is a great spot to take in the panoramic views of the surrounding mountains. Along the way, you will find drinking water sources both on and off the trail, so make sure to stay hydrated during your hike.
As you continue on the trail, you will come across Le Grand Carroz, an information point about the area, situated midway through the hike. It's a good opportunity to learn more about the flora and fauna of the region.
Closer to the end of the trail, about 2.22 kilometers from the start, you will reach the peak of Mont Pellat. From here, you can enjoy breathtaking views of the valleys below. Another information point, Col des Fontanettes, is also located nearby, providing insights into the history of the area.
