This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area surrounding Rochers de Belles Ombres. The trail has a total distance of 5.952 kilometers and an elevation gain of 334 meters, making it a moderate difficulty hike.

Starting at Parking du Pré Orcel, you will quickly come across a spring where you can refill your water bottle just 0.02 kilometers into the hike. Further along the trail, at the 0.56 kilometer mark, you will find the informative Cabane de l'Allier.

As you continue on, at around 1.71 kilometers from the start, you will reach the Pas de Belles Ombres, a saddle point offering stunning views of the surrounding area. Midway through the hike, at 2.98 kilometers, you can explore Les Griffes de l'Ours (ou la Planche à laver), a unique rock formation.

Finally, the highlight of the hike is the Rochers de Belles Ombres themselves, which you will reach after 2.98 kilometers. These peaks offer a rewarding view of the area and a great spot to rest before making your way back.
